ZEOvit is a system developed by Thomas Pohl. He is well known in Germany amongst aquarists. His corals from Korallenzucht are some of the healthiest and most colorful available.

The ZEOvit system biologically revitalizes the aquarium water, removes all the detrimental elements by skimmer and the ZEOlite. Old or brown SPS will return to their natural colour. The tissue will brighten and colours will gain a more metallic appearance. Polyp extension is also significantly increased during the hours of light. To maintain efficiency and maximise removal of unwanted compounds and proteins, it is essential to clean the skimmer regularly. 

It is important to keep the ZEOvit filter material clean to ensure continued optimal results. Connect your filter to an automatic timer, creating alternating times of high and low oxygenation of the water within the filter. Performing this cycling process every 3 hours will create an increased phosphate and nitrate metabolism. Addition of ZEOstart and ZEOfood will speed up this process even more. The use of ZEOstart or ZEOfood has not shown any detrimental effects on corals or fish. In fact, the use of the ZEOvit system has shown faster coral growth and better coral colouration.
